Yay: Opinion
Bug’s Life fans, please don’t eat me like the baby birds ate Hopper.

I don’t mean to drag on your opinion, but I’d like to share mine as well.
Yes, Judy Berlin was her final film, but she was also on the show ‘Cosby’ and I think that was the last thing she did that had her “go out with a bang” as you put it because they did an entire tribute episode to her. The show didn’t even go on for a 5th season.
The whole Bug’s Life thing… I don’t think it matters what the writers wanted to do with her character. If she wanted to do the movie, then she did it. Its not the writer’s fault that she didn’t have a big part to show her talent. I am a huge fan of Madeline as well and I think her role as Gypsy Moth showed how elegant and graceful she really was no matter how big or small the role. Her death was sudden to everyone because she didn’t tell the press about her illness for a long time. What movies she did before then had nothing to do with “going out with a bang”.
Personally, to me, this came out to me as a rude way to talk about her. She passed away at such a young age and “going out with a bang” is a horrible way to put into terms how her career ended.
